The necessary equipment and what to do or not to do

The necessary equipment for mountain-bike riding with our Malamutes, is as follows: an mountain-bike not too expensive, not too regrettable
(because of falls), but not too low-price range, because equipment suffering a lot.
My advice is to equip it with mudguard and a lighting system battery which can go on 1 to 2 hours.

Indeed, mountain-bike rides are mostly during the winter period, so long as it is cold enough. It is very dangerous to run her dogs with an outside
temperature above 18 degrees Celcius. During the winter, the days are shorter, I do rides after my job, and from 17:30 at night.
To attach the lanyard to mountain bike, I recommend to encircle it around the head tube:

but not to attach it to the handlebars or arm. The result of the tie around the head tube reduces the risk of falls and
you can possibly force dogs to change direction.
The lanyard should not be too long to avoid rolling over and must include a rubber band to absorb shocks (such as for the sled).

A helmet possibly with a flashlight attached is necessary for the safety of the cyclist.
Personally I complete my outfit by a jacket and trousers like K-way, a pair of boots, gloves and a pair of white glasses, even at night to avoid mud projections from dog legs, and branches
of vegetation.

After the ride, the reward
Thus equipped, I started early to run my first dog, then I went to 2 dogs and now I have come to run 4 dogs. With 4 dogs, you must be a good mountain-biker, it is important to know these dogs and that they obey properly.

After the ride, my dogs always appreciate a small reward which will motivate them to the next ride.
